Liggy Webb

Liggy Webb is a director of The Learning Architect and as an experienced learning and development professional she has amassed over twenty years of experience in this field. Liggy has worked with a wide range of organisations including the United Nations, NHS, Thomson Reuters, Lloyds TSB, British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, David Lloyd, Thames Valley Police, TUI and P & O Cruises.

In recent years she has been involved in extensive research surrounding the subject of Workplace Wellness and has developed a holistic model that has been implemented within the NHS and various other public and private organisations. She is considered a leading expert in this field and continues to research and develop initiatives that support the drive for health improvement in business both nationwide and internationally. Liggy is a high profile public speaker and delivers a range of motivational presentations around the topic of wellbeing. As a trustee of the Chrysalis Foundation she works to support mental health and her wellness programme is delivered in prisons to help support reduction in reoffending.

Liggy is also the Executive Editor for Training Pages and an author for People Alchemy. Her book 'How to Work Wonders - Your guide to Workplace Wellness' was published in 2009 and is available on www.amazon.co.uk. Her next book – ‘The Happy Handbook – A compendium of life skills’ will be published in October 2010.

 

Kate Tuck
Kate Tuck

Kate is the Business Manager for The Learning Architect and is responsible for the day to day running of the company including the co-ordination of the LA consultants and business partners. She also manages a range of business projects and events such as Exhibitions and Workplace Wellness Events. Kate is also responsible for marketing the business and the editing of The Learning Architect’s Workplace Wellness monthly e-newsletter.


Additionally, Kate works on Business Development for Training Pages and conducts interviews with key industry professionals and writes articles for the online monthly Training Pages e-newsletter.


Kate has a wealth of experience with in the training industry and across sector. She
has worked with a wide variety of leading companies such as United Housing Association and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy on projects such as co- facilitating team building sessions, workshops and carrying out staff surveys.


Her background is in Science and Psychology. She is also a qualified Performance Coach.

Andy Veitch
Andy Veitch

Andy is a Director of The Learning Architect and an experienced learning & development professional who has worked with a number of large organizations to support their learning & development strategies in sales, management and leadership skills. Andy’s background is primarily operational, and he understands the importance of ensuring learning & development is of real value to both operational and strategic managers.

Andy has a broad range of experience working across a wide range of organisations.Starting his career in learning & development with Thomson Holidays and has held a variety of positions including Organisational Development Manager with Bristol City Council and head of learning in the leisure industry. Andy has managed a range of highly complex organisational learning interventions and is responsible for the strategic development of The Learning Architect.

Chris Atkinson
Chris Atkinson

Chris has worked work nationally and internationally with the leadership of organisations such as: Nordea, Handlesbanken, Adidas, General Motors, HSBC, Orange Plc, Kuwait Oil Company, Lloyds TSB, Thales Group and the University of the West of England. Chris has a background in Psychology, Counselling and Business Coaching.

He qualified for the largest international training organisation Dale Carnegie Training in 2000 as their youngest trainer in the organisation worldwide. Since then he is now recognised as one of the most lively and entertaining presenters in the UK and is currently ranked in the top 5% of trainers in the UK and top 15% worldwide assessed by participant feedback scores (independently evaluated through Motorola University).

Dr. Hussain Ahmed MBE
Dr. Hussain Ahmed MBE

Dr Hussain Ahmed is an International Business Consultant and Course Team Leader specialising in business development and management across a wide range of areas. His experience is strongly related in health and safety, environmental issues and pollution control to the oil & gas industry.

Hussain has more than 12 years of industrial experience in the Chemical, Oil and Gas industry; he also has experience more than 14 years working in a business development and consultancy. Hussain has authored several technical papers and scientific articles and published and taught more than 21 training manuals relating to specific processes in the chemical, petrochemical and oil & gas industries in the UK, Middle. East and North Africa. In 2006 Hussain was awarded an MBE by her majesty the Queen on the New Year Honours List for "Services to Education & Training in the UK and Overseas".
